PGIAA Support Network

The Thomas Fire and subsequent mudslides in Montecito have taken a painful toll on our neighbors and community. Across the world, tragedies and natural disasters touch each of us in some way.

In coping with our two local emergencies, the Alumni Association became highly aware of the suffering of the First Responders. Intense emotional, physical, and psychological stresses affect First Responders as well as victims and communities as whole systems.

As a result, we have created the PGIAA Support Network for First Responders, Alumni, students, and the community. The PGIAA Support Network is a referral network of Pacifica faculty and alumni, as well as professionals in the community who are willing to take calls and provide services for those in need of assistance. Our CareLine, at 805-679-6163, is available to anyone seeking a friendly voice or counseling aid.

Animae Mundi Colendae Gratia –
for the Sake of Tending Soul in and of the World

“Our goal is to create a beloved community and this will
require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a
quantitative change in our lives.”
