Wendy has served as a professor of graduate students in the fields of counseling/depth psychology, dance-movement therapy, and organizational leadership since 1984, in addition to being a long time clinician. Wendy completed her M.S. in Leadership Development in 2002, and served as a Dean at a small New England college, worked as a corporate consultant, and a facilitator of strategic development retreats until returning to private practice and teaching full time. Currently, Wendy teaches in the Counseling Psychology program at Pacifica, and at Antioch University. She also has a private practice in Ojai, and runs her own CEU training program for clinicians and interns focused on integrating somatic approaches, mindfulness based psychotherapy and body centered techniques. Wendy is inspired by witnessing her clients and students find and embody their Authentic Self. Wendy believes that healing comes from the inside out and continues to marvel and be humbled by the creativity, resilience and beauty of the human spirit. Wendy is a long time practitioner of Vipassana Meditation, dancer, nature adventurer and grateful mother of two young adults Tara and Eli, who are her greatest teachers. She is a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the California Association of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors.
